Are the sunglasses offered by OptiLine always originals in an unworn condition?
Yes. We sell only original glasses and sunglasses. All of our models are unworn and in mint condition. We DON’T sell replicas or factory seconds.
Is paying with a credit card safe at OptiLine?
Yes, it's safe. Your credit card data will not be stored in our system, but instead will be forwarded directly via "SSL-codification" to our payment agent as well as to your bank. Your bank initially extends a so-called pre-authorization, which, during the last step of ordering, causes your credit card to be charged via our payment agent. Without your consent regarding the finalization of an order, your credit card cannot be charged.
Do I have a right to return in case the sunglasses do not fit, or I’m not satisfied for other reasons?
Yes, there is a money-back guarantee, if the sunglasses are returned (in original condition) within 30 days after purchase.
How much time will the shipment of my sunglasses require?
All orders placed before 1:00 PM (central Europe time) Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day. If you order after 1:00 PM Friday, or on Saturday, Sunday, or a Holiday, your order will ship the following business day. Once shipped, delivery times can vary depending on location. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days.
Does OptiLine deliver worldwide?
Yes, we deliver sunglasses worldwide. Our partners are the Hungarian Post and every shipment can be followed (tracked) online, anytime.
If the sun doesn't bother my eyes, do I still need to wear sunglasses?
Yes, you should. The sun has damaging UV rays that can cause various damage in your eyes (photokeratitis, pingueculae, and permanent retinal damage).
What exactly are UVA and UVB rays?
Ultraviolet (UVA and UVB) rays are located just past the violet portion of the visible light spectrum. Sunlight is the main source of these rays.
- UVA has longer wavelengths and passes through glass easily.
- UVB rays are more dangerous, making sunglasses a must. These rays don't go through glass.
What is a polarized lens?
Polarized lenses reduce reflected glare. Polarized lenses, in particular, are popular with those who play water and snow sports.

Gradient lenses are tinted from the top down so that the top of the lens is darkest. These lenses are good for driving because they shield your eyes from overhead sunlight and allow more light through the bottom half of the lens so you can see your dashboard and path clearly.
Are mirrored lenses better for sunglasses?
That depends on your attitude, if you want to hide your eyes, mirrored lenses are definitely the way to go. As for reduced glare or UV protection, this eyewear is no different than discount sunglasses with colored lenses.

Clip-on sunglasses can be attached to prescription glasses with a mechanical or magnetic clip.
Do children need sunglasses?
Children are at particular risk because they're in the sun much more than adults, and their eyes are more sensitive as well. Therefore children's sunglasses are essential.
What if my frame breaks?
If your sunglasses are still within the 30 day warranty period, and the product is deemed defective by our warranty technician, we can offer the same color and model exchange.
How should I clean my lenses?
It is only recommended to use a microfiber cloth or a certified lens cleaning kit. Do not use any solvents or chemicals that are not tested on sunglasses lenses it can possibly damage them.
